Week 4 Ragnaros RankingsWho'll take the top spot in this weeks Ragnaros Rankings? Find out! 1. Vote of No Confidence (79 Points) CR 2
Vote of No Confidence continued their winning ways this week with a 17-11 victory over ATL. Wins in the 2-5 seed contribute to the overall W. While they seem to have locked up the Red Division win they will be truly tested in the coming weeks when they play BRF, the Pain Gang, and the Stubbies. However, my bet is they will rise to the occasion. Will Rebound: Stephieee Player to Watch: HockeyBoyz3 2. Thermic Whims (78 Points) CR 1 What can I say besides it’s a Whims season again? 16-10 was a closer score than expected against a weakened Xnergy roster but they continue to dominate the Blue Division. Congratulations to Brewski on a 3-0 sweep. It seems like he’s gone under the radar so far this season but he is absolutely a premier player in this league. Will Rebound: Rizen Player to Watch: Brewski 3. BRF (72 Points) CR 12/13 It seems like a gap has developed between the top two teams and everyone else but BRF is leading the charge to catch back up. A 20-5 win over the Pod People is quite impressive. 3-0s by Plantz and Bluesombrero should also be noted. Looking ahead in the schedule the match versus Maple Syrup Inc. will be exciting to watch. After that they have a relatively easy two weeks against Dad Legend and Defias Brotherhood. Will Rebound: N/A Player to Watch: Plantz 4. Prep Coin Concede (70 Points) CR 15/16/17/18 Prep Coin Concede took down Noob Central 16-10 this week. A victory in any week is desired but I would imagine they would rather not have dropped two sets given how tight the Purple Division is. Shoutout to Jaspyr and JetLaw on 3-0 victories. Looking at the point spread it was always going to be close but PCC will have a trying several weeks facing off against Collective Mayhem, Really Nice Guys, and Team Next Level. Will Rebound: Cinder Player to Watch: Jaspyr 5. Really Nice Guys (66 Points) CR 4/5 It is going to be a scintillating race to the finish in the Purple Division and Really Nice Guys find themselves in second place but only five points above fourth. This week they got an impressive 15-11 victory against :hot_pepper: including an unfortunate disqualification that helped secure their victory. In Week 5, they will look to get a victory against DirtyMike before facing off against PCC and Collective Mayhem. Will Rebound: AndyRogers Player to Watch: joshsampson 6. Collective Mayhem (65 Points) CR 19 Collective Mayhem is also right in the middle of the Purple Division race. This week they defeated DirtyMike and The Boys 14-11 but dropped two sets in the process. Every point counts for the playoffs and I imagine this is a week they would like to have executed differently. Smileykris did defeat Lefty2111 3-0. Will Rebound: davpetm Player to Watch: Smileykris 7. Saronite Pain Gang (64 Points) CR 10/11 Saronite Pain Gang defeated Team Mox 16-10 this week to stay in second place in the Yellow Division. While I’m sure they would like to win the division outright it seems like a battle for a wildcard spot with the Texas Stubbies. Congratulations to Darkseid on his 3-0 win against DocMcButt. Will Rebound: arcaneTHL Player to Watch: Darkseid 8. Team Next Level (62 Points) CR 4/5 This next cluster of teams is incredibly tight. Quite honestly, I may be wrong placing Team Next Level this high. However, they earned an solid 18-5 win against the Jumbo Skrimps. The sole loser this week, Xcelsior, was only one game win away from the series. After continuing to climb the standings the coming weeks will show whether TNL deserves a playoff spot with :hot_pepper:, Dirty Mike, and PCC on the horizon. Will Rebound: Xcelsior: Player to Watch: Altenberg 9. :hot_pepper: (61 Points) CR 7/8 :hot_pepper: fell 11-15 against Really Nice Guys this week. They continue to be in the running for Purple Division but one small slip up shows how quickly fortunes can change in THL. They will look to recover in Week 5 because with teams this close together, one small trip up can leave a team out of playoff contention. It’s much too early to say that now but be warned… Also, the Whims are coming up. Will Rebound: kd1215 Player to Watch: Ironfire 10. Texas Stubbies (61 Points) CR 6 Well, the Stubbies won 15-8, and lost sets 1-2. Looking ahead, they play Team Mox and then the Pod People. Those are good opportunities to pick up points before a difficult week against Vote of No Confidence. It doesn’t look like the Stubbies will be able to catch BRF; it’s possible but a more likely scenario is that they will need to fight for a wildcard spot. Shoutout to PhDMX on a 3-0 win. Will Rebound: Ozmanaut Player to Watch: PhDMX 11. Maple Syrup Inc. (61 Points) CR 10/11 Oh no… A rough 13-15 loss dropped Maple Syrup Inc. back into the fight for wildcard spots. Honestly, this was a week they needed to win and they didn’t. They will face a difficult road ahead when they face ATL, BRF, and Saronite Pain Gang. The coming weeks will test their mettle and their playoff chances… Will Rebound: JerryDamage Player to Watch: Tues
