As the regular season ends, I want to thank everyone for a successful first season of the Selfless Hero League. When we started this, we had hopes that it would be fun and competitive and I have to say that Season 1 has been even better than I had hoped. For that I thank all of our players, captains, streamers, board members, and data reporters for their efforts in making this a success. Without you guys, Season 1 would not have been nearly as fun as it was.
We saw a lot of different storylines this season. The 3-man rosters made every week very competitive and one week you could be on top of the rankings and at the bottom the next if you weren’t careful. I’ve played in THL since Season 2 and SHL Season 1 ranks up there as far as competition that I’ve seen. With that I present the final power rankings for Season 1. 1. XplosiveSheep (6-1, 79 Points) Xplosive Sheep come in at number 1 for the season. They went 6-1 on and finished with a league high 79 points. They end the season on a 3 week win streak and look to avenge their only loss on the season in the Semi-Finals against Enthalpy. 2. Defias Henchmen (4-3, 73 Points) Defias come out of a close race in Gold to take home the top spot in the Gold division heading into the playoffs. They finished with 73 points and are also riding a 3 week win streak. This week they face off against Kawasaki Ninjas Rule in a rematch from Week 1 that they won 10-7. 3. Kawasaki Ninjas Rule (4-3, 70 Points) Kawasaki Ninjas Rule narrowly edged out xG for the last playoff spot in Purple by 1 point. They finished the season strongly, winning 3 of their last 4. This week they look to avenge a loss in Week 1 when they play the Defias Henchmen in the semi-finals.

1. XplosiveSheep (5-1, 64 Points)
XplosiveSheep have taken control of the top spot. They finished with their second win in a row and are now 5-1 on the season. This week they take on xG in a match to determine who finishes on top of the Purple division going into the playoffs. 2. xG (4-2, 65 Points) XG got a big win last week by sweeping against the Silent Storms. That win put them on top of the point standings for the entire league. This week they take on XplosiveSheep for the top spot in Purple. 3. Enthalpy (3-3, 62 Points) Enthalpy has started to be the team that everyone predicted they would be in the preseason. They are sitting atop the rankings of the Gold division. This week they face Pocahontas In Space as they look to keep PIS out of the playoffs and finish on top of the Gold division. What a season Season 4 has been. We saw some very close series for a spot in the playoffs and saw one team dominate in ways that no other team has in THL history. With that said, here's the final PPR rankings for Season 4.
1. Slimsch (7-0, 21-6) Slimsch’s reign as the 1 seed for Team Rank 5 has been great. He has taken on all comers and simply put, he dominated this season, only losing 6 games all season long. Last week he swept Bytes 3-0 to remain undefeated and on the top of the list. This week he gets a rematch against Gnetz when Team Rank 5 takes on Avatar in the first round of the playoffs. 2. Aroy (7-0, 21-7) Aroy has really had a remarkable season. He started out as the 4 seed for the Defias Brotherhood and rose up to the 2 seed, staying undefeated throughout. That’s no small feat. This week he takes on Tzeriel as the Defias Brotherhood takes on Team 1600 Dust. 3. Dag Randolph (6-1, 19-8) What a breakout rookie season for Dag Randolph. Going 6-1 in THL is no easy feat. Dag’s only loss was to Gemini, Season 3’s MVP Runner-Up. This week he takes on Phoebus as the Hairy Generals take on the Temporal Legends. |
