Ragnaros League Week 1: 1. Xnergy Xnergy claims the title of highest ranked seed after taking down Collective Mayhem 14-10. A sweep by DexterHS helped the squad take the win. From top to bottom this team looks strong. Will Rebound: Earl Player to Watch: DexterHS 2. Saronite Pain Gang Saronite Pain Gang scored an impressive 17 point win against the BRF. They won four matches with only the 4th seed, Darkseid, losing 1-3. They look strong at the top of the roster but we’ll have to see whether or not the move up to the fourth seed will cause him to struggle. Will Rebound: Darkseid Player to Watch: Donde 3. Maple Syrup Inc. These syrup loving Canadians have started off this season strong with a dominant 16-7 win over the Pod People. After a difficult last season, they have changed up their roster and it seems like it's going well so far. Will Rebound: Saku Player to Watch: Tues 4. Prep Coin Concede Joining the 16 point club in week 1 is the PCC squad. 3-0 sweeps from JetLaw and Cinder contributed to a solid PCC performance across the board. Will Rebound: Jaspyr Player to Watch: Starlax 5. Thermic Whims Last season’s powerhouse continued their winning ways this week with a tight 13-11 victory over Really Nice Guys. This team looks to be a playoff race leader as we get further into the season. Will Rebound: Jaxox Player to Watch: Rizen 6. Vote of No Confidence Vote of No Confidence earned 15 points against a Defias Brotherhood roster that was considered a top team during the reveal stream. Wins in the 1,2, and 5 seed showcased a solid roster from top to bottom. Will Rebound: HockeyBoyz Player to Watch: Aeo 7. Team Mox Team Mox started off Season 9 well by scoring 15 points against Sylvanas Season 5 semi finalists, Dad Legend. While not entirely related to THL rankings, congrats to Appa on winning the Brotherly Brawl. Will Rebound: Appa Player to Watch: DocMcButt 8. Texas Stubbies The Stubb gave it to ATL this week and earned 15 points as well. Wins from the top three seeds took down the ATL buzzsaw this week. Will Rebound: PhDMX Player to Watch: Shunsui21 9. :hot_pepper: These spicy men defeated perennial fan favorites, DirtyMike and the Boys, with dominant wins by top three players proving to be just too hot for the boys to handle. Will Rebound: Cakes Player to Watch: kd1215 10. Team Next Level Rounding out the winning teams this week is Team Next Level. Rarely does a team win with only two match wins but sweeps from Tri and myself and valiant 2-3 efforts from the rest of this squad were enough to take down Noob Central. Will Rebound: Jammies Player to Watch: Tri 11. Always Topdeck Lethal It was a rough week for ATL in terms of game 5. Even though all three top seeds lost 2-3 the bottom of this roster carried the team to a very impressive 14 points in a week where they lost. Will Rebound: BlueSpartan Player to Watch: Sullythe1 12. Noob Central Last season was rough for this team but an improved roster came out swinging with three wins in this first week. Serious questions were asked of the top of this roster however and so far have not been answered. We’ll see how they can respond in week 2. Will Rebound: Kuthroat Player to Watch: ArthurRhodes 13. Dadlegend The transition from Sylvanas to Ragnaros league proved to be difficult for these guys. On the bright side they earned an impressive 13 points in their first week. Will Rebound: Starden Player to Watch: wowdotben 14. Really Nice Guys The Whims claimed another victim this week but RNG did earn 11 points. Considering their opponents it was a very respectable performance. A highlight was Krakshot opening the season with a 3-0 sweep. Will Rebound: AndyRogers Player to Watch: Krakshot 15. Defias Brotherhood It was a difficult week for Defias as Vote of No Confidence was too much for them to handle. However, scoring 11 points in a losing week is commendable. Will Rebound: S3NP4I Player to Watch: C0mp 16. Collective Mayhem Mayhem ensued for the Collective with a 10-14 loss to Xnergy. It was a close one and they will look to bounce back next week. SmileyKris managed to earn a 3-1 victory over Inposition. Will Rebound: Itachi Player to Watch: SmileyKris 17. DirtyMike and the Boys Durtymike has returned! However, a 3-1 victory over Cakes was not enough to get the boys a win against :hot_pepper:. A ten point showing is good enough in week 1 and they will look to bounce back. Will Rebound: Plantz Player to Watch: Cody 18. BRF The board got the BRF week 1. Saronite Pain Gang won 4 matches and scored 17 points to their 10. Credits to Jimphilos for getting the 3-1 win. Will Rebound: TheTownDrunk Player to Watch: Jimphilos 19. Jumbo Skrimps The Skrimps were not as jumbo as advertised this week. Wins by Aviously and DrD8del were not enough to carry them to victory. Nine points makes them the second lowest point earners of the week. Will Rebound: RCIX Player to Watch: DrDr8del 20. Pod People It was a rough one for the Pod People. Only seven points puts them behind in their division from the start. They will look to begin closing the gap in week 2. Will Rebound: DirestBear Player to Watch: RockBass
