by TeamHearthLeague AP As week four concluded so did the period of non-divisional games within season two of Team Hearth League. Some divisions have clear front-runners and some divisions are completely up for grabs, but each division will have its own unique drama play out over the next four weeks. Looking at the league as a whole it would seem three teams have risen to the top, while everything below them is a little less clear. Just look at this past week—five of the top eight teams walked away with a loss. Let's see what the rankings look like before we kick off divisional games. 1. Team Rank Five (last week 1) – 1st Orange – 72 ptsThe top team in the orange division, Team Rank Five faced off against its counterpart in the red division this past week in Continuum and emerged victorious. JesusC picked up his fourth win and is making a very strong case as the best fifth seed in the league, just one of the many threats on this dangerous team. After an early upset and some roster transitions it seems TR5 has settled in and is situated perfectly for the start of division play. 2. The Hairy Generals (last week 2) – 2nd Blue – 69 ptsThe Hairy Generals followed up an impressive win over Xnergy with a repeat performance over Pure Strategy this past week. This gives the Generals one of the best record in the league. Newcomer PokeHer had an eye-opening sweep over Hambowen and the Generals roster as a whole is incredibly strong and balanced. 3. Soupreme (last week 4) – 1st Blue – 73 pts![]() After a slight stumble last week against Pure Strategy, Soupreme corrected itself this week with a win over Xnergy. Cheesee10 and DeerJason holding Catota and Pacetry to one point is pretty remarkable but they weren't without help as Moo and Prometheus also chipped in with victories of their own. 4. Pure Strategy (last week 3) – 1st Green – 58 pts![]() Week four had the number two and three teams facing off, with the third ranked Pure Strategy falling short against the Hairy Generals. Fortunately for Pure Strategy they were just one of many top teams to lose and as a result they're able to stay near the top of the rankings. Yet this may be a week when missing out on a handful of points bites this team, especially looking at a hotly contested green division with just four points separating first and fourth place. 5. Xnergy (last week 5) – t-2nd Green – 54 ptsAfter winning their first two games, Xnergy has now lost their last two games going against the titans of the blue division, the Hairy Generals and Soupreme. In back-to-back weeks their top three seeds were unable to bring in any wins, causing some concern in an area of the roster that was thought to be a strength. Is this just a case of tough competition or are there bigger issues for Xnergy? 6. Continuum (last week 6) – 1st Red – 65 ptsContinuum faced a great challenge week four in Team Rank Five, playing them tough but coming up short. Adidas5482 was able to reverse sweep MVParker on Sunday Ticket and looks to be the one seed for the near future, while Despair returned to the team with a win over Imbolc. These were the bright spots as the rest of the team struggled against THL's top team. 7. Entropy (last week 9) – 2nd Red – 59 pts![]() Was last week a wake up call for Entropy? After having 20 points scored against them week three they bounced back in a big way by scoring 20 points of their own against the Super Heroes. That's one way to insert yourself back into both the playoff race and the discussion regarding the top teams in the league. 8. The Gosu Casuals (last week 11) – t-2nd Green – 54 pts![]() While on the subject of bounce backs, The Gosu Casuals had a nice week four with a dominating win over Team Golden Wisp after a tie the week prior against the Top Deck Kings. Mykel19XX and ADKT both came up with sweeps and Slimsch secured his third win in a row. Perhaps the Casuals just had an early rough schedule and are now starting to hit their stride, we'll have to see if that's the case as division games start. 9. Team Golden Wisp (last week 7) – 3rd Blue – 46 pts![]() Week four is a week Team Golden Wisp would like to forget as they had difficulty matching up with The Gosu Casuals, securing only five points. After a nice start the season the last two weeks haven't been kind to Team Golden Wisp nor its captain, AlecGWPodcast. With tough division games coming up it doesn't seem things will get any easier but divisional games will also present a chance to prove themselves and improve their standing in Blue. 10. Those Filthy Roleplayers (last week 14) – 4th Green – 52 pts![]() After taking down Team Golden Wisp week three, Those Filthy Roleplayers set their sights on the other podcasters with Top Deck Kings in week four. In both instances the Roleplayers squeaked out three-win victories and seem to have regrouped after a tough week two. 11. Boom Squad (last week 13) – 3rd Orange – 38 pts![]() With a no contest and a forfeit it wasn't the prettiest of wins but Boom Squad built upon their first win last week with another one in week four, this time against Archon Storm. Dlineman and TinyHippo both have two game win streaks of their own and have helped put their team back in the playoff race. 12. Dream Team (last week 15) – 3rd Red – 57 pts![]() Paired up against Noob Central, Dream Team earned the win and stopped a two game losing streak. The top half of the roster proved to be the difference as c0mp, SmokedSalmon, and Nightsmoke combined to go 12-2. With no blowout wins or losses so far this season the Dream Team is lurking just a hair out of the playoffs and promises to make every series interesting against the rest of Red from here out. 13. Archon Storm (last week 8) – 4th Red – 45 pts![]() Archon Storm followed up their first win of the season with a rough week against Boom Squad. Not much went right for them aside from Gideoneko finishing with yet another sweep, as the rest of the team enjoys Season Sabbatical. After all, before play started Archon Storm said they would take Proliferation off and at this point it seems they were dead serious. 14. Noob Central (last week 12) – 2nd Orange – 54 pts![]() Noob Central squared off against the Dream Team but wasn't able to come away with a win. A lot of the concerns surrounding the Noobs seemed to involve their lower seeds but it was their fourth and fifth seeds, Godsgift6917 and Gemini, who were the only members to win this week. With Kuthroat returning and the lower seeds gaining experience, the Noobs could be stronger than originally expected. 15. The Super Heroes (last week 10) – 4th Orange – 45 pts![]() The Super Heroes struggled week three and not much changed week four. A determined Entropy team proved to be too much as the Heroes gave up 20 points. This makes two weeks in a row where The Super Heroes haven't won a single match. After a nice start to the season they will need to refocus and figure out what went wrong before inter-divisional games start. 16. Top Deck Kings (last week 16) – 4th Blue – 40 ptsThe Top Deck Kings followed up a tie in week three with a close fight against Those Filthy Roleplayers in week four but are still left searching for their first win. KremePuff had a nice win against arbitraryarmor and will be the top seed for the Kings going forward.
