Before I get to this week’s Top 10, I wanted to apologize for not having a list last week. Last Monday, I sat down and put in the results for Week 7 thinking I’d have time to finish up the calculations and do the write up. However, work was crazy leading into the holiday weekend as we had a few people out in my office and didn’t have the time I thought I would to finish the PPR. Several of you reached out and asked me about it, which meant a lot to me as it means you guys are reading these articles and looking forward to when it comes out each week. That encourages me to continue doing this next season and beyond. Next week I’ll do the final one for Season 3. I don’t think I’ll do any for the playoffs as there’s not enough data to do a list like this. This led to me thinking about the publication time of next season's first list. I would love to do one from Week 1 onwards, but I don’t think it’s possible that early. THL has 100 players, so Week 1 would have 50 people up for the Top 10. I’ll start doing the list during Week 2 because at that point the list of possible players will start to thin out and we can start to see who’s off to a great start for Season 4. This week we see a new face in the top spot and these rankings are starting to reflect some of what we’re seeing in the league standings as the players on this list are showing why their teams are in strong positions for a playoff run. So without further ado, here are this week’s Top 10 Player Power Rankings! 1. Gemini (7-1) When the list first came out, I think people were surprised to see Gemini on it. Having played her earlier this season, I saw first hand how well she was playing. Since that time she’s had a phenomenal season. She’s become one of the best 5 seeds in the league and has helped to put Netherstorm not only into a playoff spot, but also in contention for the Blue division title. Gemini faces Asuna this week as Netherstorm takes on Boom Squad who look to play spoiler to those Blue division title dreams. 2. Imbolc (7-1) Imbolc is having a great season. He’s got wins over Twizz, Dlineman, Hupnar, Bytes, Nade, Kraxximus, and Drewman. His only loss was a 2-3 loss to Cheesee10. Boasting an impressive 7-1 record, he’s leading Team Rank 5 to an Orange division title. This week he has a tough test in the undefeated Hectorhowl as Team Rank 5 look to finish out the season strongly against an Aeon team who hopes to start some momentum they can carry over into next season. 3. Craeon (7-1) N.W.A. has been dominant this season. Part of that domination has been Craeon. He’s only lost 10 games all season, working towards an impressive 7-1 record. He’s performed excellent against some stiff competition. This week he has a tough challenge as he faces Leumer when N.W.A. takes on Team Avatar in a potential preview of a conference finals showdown. 4. Cheesee10 (6-2)
Part of the 1/2/3 punch of Soupreme, Cheesee10 is having a great season. He’s beaten Bocharaenai, Twizz, Imbolc, Soul, AlecGWPodcast, and Pizza. He’s a large part of why Soupreme is currently in the top spot in the Blue division. This week he goes against StiLLer3k as Soupreme takes on Noob Central in teams battling for playoff position. 5. Crono (6-2) Crono is another THL rookie who’s showing that he’s more than taken to the way the league works. He’s managed to help put the Super Heroes in good position to take one of the Wild Card spots and make the playoffs this season. This week Crono has a tough opponent in DrewbixQube as Team Golden Wisp looks to keep the Super Heroes out of the playoffs and take the last Wild Card spot for themselves. 6. JoshSampson (6-2) Josh is having an amazing season. He started off the season with an 1-3 loss to Asuna. After that he has gotten wins over Crono, Detrucci, Vicarious, JesusC,Takuah, and DrewbixQube. He’s been a big part of the success that Noob Central has had this season. This week he faces a tough challenge in Vedney as the Noobs look to hang onto their 2 seed in Orange when they face Soupreme. 7. Gnetz (6-2) Gnetz has won more games this season than anyone else. He’s won 22 games so far and is showing why he’s going to be a force to be reckoned with as we near the playoffs. This week is a big test as he faces Hotasiangirl in a battle of 1 seeds. 8. RayC591 (6-0) RayC was at the top of the list for awhile this season. Then he had a no contest against Fudd and health issues kept him out of action last week. Even with missing two weeks, he’s still here on the top 10 list because his season to that point was that dominate. He’s won 75% of his games, which is amazing considering the competition that is in the league. This week he faces a tough challenge in Nade as Soupreme looks to keep the top spot in Blue. 9. Hotasiangirl (6-2) Hotasiangirl is living up to the hype that he came into the league with. His run as the 1 seed for N.W.A. has made them one of the favorites to take home the title as the playoffs are about to begin. This week he matches up with another top 10 player Gnetz as we get a potential preview of what could happen in the conference finals. 10. TonyMontana (6-2) In the preseason everyone looked at Soupreme and their 1-2- 3 seeded combo. I’d like to say that we should also look at the 1-2- 4 seeds for N.W.A. Having put up an amazing 140 points so far this season, they’ve managed to get 3 players onto the top 10 list. Coming in at number 10 is TonyMontana who’s currently in the 2 seed for them. He’s had nothing short of an amazing season and is currently on a 4 week win streak. He faces a tough challenge this week in PumbaasBFF. Honorable Mentions: 11. Leumer 12. SneakyHero 13. N00basaurus 14. PumbaasBFF 15. Markshire 16. Nade 17. BoomBoomHall
