Last week I revealed that THL PPR is indeed Jerry Damage. I did so to make the process and my rankings more transparent and in order to show that it’s not just me randomly selecting who I like, but that I’ve got a formula that I use to determine who the strongest players in the league are. This coming Monday I’ll be on After The Salt Settles to discuss the rankings system and help explain it a bit more, as well as answer any questions that you may have about it. But before that, we’ve got this week’s Top 10 Player Power Rankings. The list is similar to last weeks but has started to narrow down the list of potential players to be on the list. The first week I had 30 players that were in the hunt. Last week I had 20. This week we are down to 11. I’ll start adding players who are in the hunt at the end to highlight them as anyone in the conversation for this list is having a very good season and deserves to be acknowledged. 1. RayC591 (6-0) RayC has continued his undefeated streak with a 3-2 win over Bytes to help secure a very dominant win over the Damaged Ones. He’s only dropped 6 games this season and is having a phenomenal season. I have compared Soupreme’s 1,2,3 seeds as the same thing of when Lebron James and Chris Bosh joined Dwayne Wade in the Miami Heat. Calling RayC the equivalent to Lebron James may not be an exact comparison, but he is having a great season and is easily in the hunt for league MVP. This week he faces off against Fudd. 2. Craeon (6-0) Craeon had a tough matchup looming as we went into Week 6. He faced Aroy who had ended Leumer’s undefeated streak earlier this season. So the question was if Aroy could do it again and how Craeon would respond to the challenge. Craeon responded with a 3-0 win over Aroy and faces off against Killajive this week. 3. Pizza (5-1) Pizza started off hot before dropping one match to Kraxximus. He’s restarted his win streak however as since that match he’s gotten wins over Andyrogers and AlecGWPodcast. This week he faces HectorHowl who’s coming off a big debut win himself over Kraxximus. 4. PumbaasBFF (5-1)
PumbaasBFF is another newcomer who has also taken THL by storm. He’s 5-1 and is a big part of Team Avatar’s success this season. He’s only dropped one match and that was a 2-3 loss to Vendi. Other than that close loss, he’s been on a roll this season. Last week he defeated Dunamis 3-1 and this week he faces off against C0mp. 5. Gemini (5-1) When I first posted Gemini on this list, some were surprised to see her ranked so high. I played her earlier this season and saw first hand how good she was. Since that time she’s only dropped one match to SneakyHero and that was a 2-3 loss. She’s been the anchor for Netherstorm in the 5 seed and is showing to be one of the best 5 seeds in the league. This week she has a tough challenge in GernBlanston as Netherstorm fights for playoff position against the Hairy Generals. 6. Crono (5-1) Not much was known about Crono at the start of the season but he’s shown to be one of the best 4 seeds in the league. He dropped one series to JoshSampson but outside of that he’s had convincing wins over everyone he’s faced. This week he has a tough test as he faces reigning MVP, JesusC. 7. Imbolc (5-1) Staying in the Orange division, we have Imbolc. He’s having a phenomenal season on one of the top teams in the league. He’s only dropped one match, losing 2-3 to Cheesee10. Outside of that he’s shown why he’s the 1 seed for Team Rank 5. This week he faces Kraxximus as Team Rank 5 looks to hang onto the top of the Orange division, while the Super Heroes are making a run for the playoffs. 8. Leumer (5-1) Six short weeks ago everyone had Leumer and Team Avatar counted out before the season had even started. And now Leumer and teammate PumbaasBFF have both shown themselves to be top 10 players in the league. Leumer dropped one match to Aroy in a 1-3 loss. Last week he had a tough challenge in Lordforehead who himself was on this list last week, and managed to take the series 3-2. This week he looks to continue his winning streak as he faces off against Yamakiller. 9. N00basaurus (5-1) Our second 5 seed on the list, N00basaurus has been a big part of the success that Archon Storm has had this season. He’s dropped one match to DiAmonD6610, 0-3. Outside of that he’s had some close matches that went to game 5, but he’s managed to pull those out and get the win. This week he faces Drudded as Archon Storm looks to take the top of the Red division from N.W.A. 10. Nade (5-1) In the final spot this week we have Noob Central’s captain and THL’s latest talk show host, Nade. Nade has only lost one match, a 2-3 loss to Imbolc last week. This week he has another tough challenge as he faces Bytes when Noob Central battles for playoff position against the Damaged Ones. Honorable Mention: BoomBoomHall (5-1)
