The Board: Week in Review, Week of 7/30

A message from the board:

This week has been a much slower week with many of our major short term goals being met last week.

• This week the Department of League Administration (or DoLA for short) voted to remove the strike system from punitive action. This does not mean that previous records are wiped. Punitive action will be handled on a case by case basis.
  
• DoLA has also voted to ban Whizbang the Wonderful from all THL leagues. This choice was made following the announcement that Whizbang would also be banned in HCT events due to the card's unique effect.
  
• Captains for the upcoming season have been announced and the Free Agency period is in full swing! Best of luck to captains in filling out their rosters with great players.
  
• With the Boomsday Project releasing on Tuesday, August the 7th, MCL (Mysterious Challenger League) will have an off week, meaning no matches will be played for the week of August 6-12.
  
• The Board is currently looking for someone with experience in website UI / UX who would be interested in helping us update the website. We are also looking for someone with experience in product development to help with the RedBubble Shop. If you’re interested in either of these things, shoot a DM on discord to either Nade or Khell.
