The Board: Week in Review, Week of 7/23

A message from the board:

Hey everyone,

So it’s been a pretty hectic couple of weeks with everything transitioning from the old to the new. That being said I think it’s been a very productive time! We’ve gotten quite a bit done in the last week and a half.

• Approved Hats PR rework and are working on getting the backend changes done.
• Sent out several surveys about the captains process, last seasons captains and their performance, and captains applications. We are reviewing the survey results and will have more detailed information on those to release very shortly.
• We polled the players about a Wild League which seems to have some interest. We’ll be looking for players and captains for a beta test of either Wild League, or the uncapped PR Pro League. If you have specific interest in either of those leagues please be sure to let us know!
• Our biggest focus of the past week or so has been getting the website updated and more user friendly. The website has been updated and we can now post announcements there as well as discord and Facebook, which helps us with our outward facing perception since many new players to THL will be able to get more information from one place rather than needing to check Facebook, Discord, AND the website.
• ForceOfWill announced the THL open series which we are really excited about as a way to potentially grow our playerbase, while being able to keep our free agents more engaged with THL during the ongoing season.
• We’ve restructured our points of contact for board members and different departments. Those details are as follows:

• And finally we’ve transferred a vast majority of moderation responsibilities to the Department of League Administration. They will be handling chat moderation, punitive action, and will be handling captains applications and approvals as well.
