Tinyfin Fan Club (1) - TFC continued to show the rest of the league why they are the force to be reckoned with this season winning their last week against Kawasaki Ninjas Rule 23 - 4! With wins coming consistently across the board it didn’t look like they will be slowing down anytime soon.
Flint Tropics (2) - The Flint Tropics continue to be a strong contender this season winning last week against Sexy Hombres in Texas 13-12. It looks like they will win the Blue division if they can finish strong these last two weeks. Temporal Legends (3) - Temporal Legends find themselves out in front for the Black Division lead after a decisive victory over Xnergy with LochnessH and theAnarchist both pulling off sweeps. Next up is a huge divisional showdown with DadLegend which will have major implications on who wins this division. Daddy Up (4) - A win last week over Team WeaselShark is exactly what Daddy Up needed to take solid control over the Purple Division. With a 10-point lead going into week 6 and facing a lackluster team in the Defias Henchman, this is the week for Daddy Up to grab some points and increase their lead. Team Black Lotus is hot on their heels in 2nd place and and looking to overtake Daddy Up when they face those same WeaselSharks this week. Sexy Hombres in Texas (5) - The Sexy Hombres had another close loss this week to Flint Tropics 12-13. That being said this team looks to have a good chance at winning a wildcard spot for playoffs. As long as the wheels don't fall off I expect to see them in the playoffs. DadLegend (6) - DadLegend dropped a close one this week vs the Bandits, without a single 3-2 from either side so there weren't many points to go around. Rizen maintains his perfect record and is the only 5-0 #5 in the league. A good result against Tenporal Legends could put them back in the divisional hunt or at least solidify a playoff spot. Team Black Lotus (7) - Week 6 will be huge for TBL who are looking to take over that number 1 spot in the Purple Division. Going into week 6 down 10 points to Daddy Up and facing a WeaselShark team that only managed to pull out 1 win last week could be just what TBL needs right now. Black Lotus is still very much in the hunt to make the playoffs with the next 2 weeks being very important. A big week against Team WeaselShark in week 6, then head to head against 1st place Daddy Up in week 7 will certainly make TBL the team to watch heading into the playoffs. Big Deck Bandits (8) - The Big Deck Bandits took the win this week with a 12-10 victory over DadLegend, putting them in a good position for the final playoff spot. FridGaming and BlakeHall both win again and have each only lost once this season. Next up is Xnergy with a chance firm up their hold on a wild card spot. Xplosive Sheep (9) - Xplosive sheep were xplosive this week winning 16-11 against Zona peligrosa. Though if they want a playoff spot they will need to win their match this week against Flint Tropics or at least put up some points to be able to stay in the playoff race. Defias Henchmen (10) - Sitting in 3rd place going into week 6 DH is matched up with Daddy Up who won 4 of their 5 matches last week. It’s gonna take a lot of work from the henchmen to make the playoffs but I don’t see them giving up. If they can improve upon last week where they won 3 out of their 5 matches and pull of an upset against Daddy Up, they could very easily make this a 3-way race for the top spot in purple. Zona Peligrosa (11) - Zona Peligrosa took a loss this week to Xplosive sheep 11-16. That being said they still have a chance at playoffs if they put up some points in the last two weeks of the season. The matchup this week against Sexy Hombres is the perfect place to start. Xnergy (12) - Xnergy found themselves on the wrong end of a beatdown this week, losing 8-18 to Temporal Legends. A bright spot for them is Starlax, who was able to maintain his undefeated start to the season. They still have a shot at the playoffs but will need to string together some points in their upcoming matches vs the Bandits and DadLegend. Team WeaselShark (13) - The Sharks only job at this point is to play the spoiler. Crushing the hopes and dreams of their final 2 opponents (Team Black Lotus and Defias Henchman) and keeping them out of the playoffs are all the Sharks can really do at this point. Down 24 points going into week 6 it would be close to impossible for Team WeaselShark to pull out a playoff berth. This week gives us a Clash of the Titans as the only 5-0 players in SHL (Inkd and Bonja) go head to head, as both rookies look to stay undefeated. Destiny’s Illegitimate Child (14) - DIC had a big win beating their division rival Team Next Level and picking up 18 points in the process. Nate had a big week for DIC picking up the sweep and denying his opponent any points in this series. Although they had a big week there is still a small chance that they make the playoffs as they are still 15 points out of a playoff spot. Kawasaki Ninjas Rule (15) - KNR had an opportunity to make a big jump in the playoff race if they could beat TFC. Instead they only managed to get 4 points out of the matchup and stay near the bottom of the league. There is a bit of silver lining as the 2 seed merkin_pie was able to take 2 games off of pro player Seohyun628. Team Next Level (16) - TNL had a very important game playing a division rival in Destiny’s Illegitimate Child. Unfortunately they ended up losing a close one 11 - 15. It might take a miracle for this team to take it to the next level and make the playoffs.
