Rag Team and Player Power Rankings Week 5

1. Hearthstone Academy
   The only team with 5 wins and no ties or losses, HSA has obliterated every team in their path, some of them top 8 contenders with great records themselves. The Boys, Cabal, ATL, Defias, and Mox all fell to the scythe of Sage and his warband of teenagers. Only time will tell if anyone can dethrone the kings.
   
   
2. Collective Mayhem
   One possible usurper to HSA when playoffs roll around, Collective Mayhem has not lost a game yet. They look to maintain their hot streak vs AP4K going into week 6.
   
   
3. Dirty Mike and the Boys
   Sitting close to the top of the 4-1 squad, Dirty Mike and his Boys brought it back in a huge way after their week 1 loss to HSA. They currently look to be the #1 team in Gold, especially after putting the smackdown on #2 Gold team Xnergy in week 4.
   
   
4. Xnergy
   A high point record team with an interesting lineup of opponents, Xnergy’s biggest challenge so far was their loss to DMB. Time will tell if their record was just the Mox factor, and their match with HSA week 6 should prove if they’re the real deal.
   
   
5. Auto Pecker 4000
   Another great 4-1 team, AP4K looks to claim the Blue division wildcard spot for playoffs as we enter into the midseason. They’ve put up impressive numbers vs skilled teams so far, and face their division rivals and overall #2 team in the league, Mayhem, in week 6.
   
   
6. Really Nice Guys
   How much longer can we keep saying that RNG is a “pleasant surprise”? The answer is apparently as long as they keep smacking good teams. Matches vs Mayhem, AP4K, and Pod People are no joke, and TNL should give RNG a much-needed break after playing David and Goliath for weeks 2-4.
   
   
7. The Pod People
   The other breakout team of Purple division, The Pod People have gone toe to toe with 3 letter teams, like RNG, SPG, and MSI, and come out with a 3-1-1 record. In the same boat as RNG, DadLegend could either give them a week off or a run for their money.
   
   
8. The Cabal
   The author of this article would simply like to point out that The Cabal is tied in points with AP4K, and responded to last week’s banter by going 5-0 and full sweeping ATL. Defias Brotherhood looks to be another challenger for the Red wildcard spot in week 6.
   
   
9. Noob Central
   Making an impressive midseason push, Noob Central has faced a reasonable pack of opponents and come out of it all with a respectable 3-2 record. They’re lurking on the edge of the Gold Wildcard spot, and could quickly snap it up if Xnergy falls off.
   
   
10. Saronite Pain Gang
    Looking to make a comeback as of these past few weeks, SPG is 2-2-1 after a brutal lineup of Mayhem, AP4K, and Pod People. They’re looking to continue the turnaround and beat Glitter Baes week 6.
    
11. Maple Syrup Inc
    A tough loss to the Pod People week 5 doesn’t take MSI out of the running for playoffs. Nated’s sweep of MojoPowell and BillSnyder’s win over DirestBear prove that they’re lurking just on the edge of Blue Division frontrunners like Mayhem and AP4K.
    
    
12. AskHS
    If AskHS could ask their players to play the same roster 2 weeks in a row, this team could potentially get some victories. With wins vs ATL and Da Stubbs, and losses to the top 3 gold teams, AskHS needs to put up some numbers vs an HSA or Cabal in order to prove their wildcard contention status.
