POWBOT predictions for THL playoffs in Alterac Valley With Bonemasher: Week 4

With both the Pro and Hero series champions decided last week, we’re down to just Legacy and Wild series. Week 4 of THL playoffs brings us our Legacy series final and Wild series semifinals. Let’s see who POWBOT predicts to make it through to the Wild Series final and who will come out on top in the Legacy Series championship.

Legacy Series

Last week JustWin and The Cooler got the win in their respective matches to progress to the Legacy Series finals this week. JustWin entered the postseason as the 1 seed, having not lost a single match all season. They should go into the match as firm favorites. The Cooler would have been on top in the Silver Conference if not for a DQ loss, but the team has  shown they are worthy of the title, having defeated the top seeds in the Gold and Silver Conference in the past 2 weeks. There can be no argument that these are the best 2 teams in Legacy series this season.

As we did in the other series, let’s take a look at the logos for our finalists and see if they give either team an edge:

JustWin

The Cooler

JustWin’s logo is based on emoting, which could be considered BM. The Cooler look like they’re ready to get on the beers. Either way, we can see how both teams will be celebrating should they win. I suggest The Cooler squelches in their matches this week.

POWBOT predicts JustWin to take the title with a score of 14-10. This final was hard to assess with both teams slotting in a player that has not played a match going into the final. I don’t expect either player to get the win though. The match will come down to the 1 and 3 seeds and if The Cooler can take those matches out.

Wild Series

Week 1 of the Wild Series playoffs saw TaggerFans and Aussie Pillager Mains win their matches to progress to the semifinals. Both teams won from the lower seeds, meaning TaggerFans will face Rumbletusk Shakers and Aussie Pillager Mains will face F2L: Viridian.

POWBOT predicts F2L: Viridian to progress with a score of 20-6. With the dominant season F2L have had and having won the last two seasons, it’s hard to tip against such a formidable unit. Added to that are the facts that Aussie Pillager Mains almost missed the playoffs and  barely scraped through their match last week. Can they sneak a win here too or will this be a quick kill for the F2L juggernaut?

POWBOT predicts the Rumbletusk Shakers to progress with a score of 16-14. These teams are very close from top to bottom with all the matches being a coin toss. The one thing for certain is that the winner of this match will have earned their place in the finals.
