Apologies for our absence! We've been compiling rankings in the past weeks, but didn't complete the writeups. The changes reflect the difference in each team's rankings from where they were on the rankings that we completed after week 3 concluded. We hope to be much more consistent going forwards, the bye week has helped us reorganize. Thanks again for reading, and good luck to everyone in their matches this week! 1. DadLegend (+3) As the sole undefeated team and format leader in points, DadLegend is the obvious #1 team this week. The highlight of their team so far has been Crashcoptr. He's held his own in a gauntlet of THL veterans to start the season, playing against both Jimphilos and Skritch. As a result of his strong play, this team doesn't have a single player with a losing record. All of their players have been performing, and they're looking to be a likely playoff team. 2. Card Advantage Tempest (+1) This team has been the cat's meow so far this season. They lead their conference in points, led by their star 4 seed in Cakes. In the first four weeks he's faced Everside, Chiggmo, Rizen and Ozmanaut, yet he has a 3-1 record coming into week 5. The strength of this team so far has been in their bottom 3 seeds, all of whom are 3-1, and their ability to pick up games even in matches that they lose. If they're able to continue their performance in the first week after the recent nerfs, they'll likely be able to make the playoffs at the end of the regular season. 3. Noob Central (+4) The Noobs have been extremely solid so far this season. Their strategy of having a powerful middle seed composition has paid off in spades, with Chiggmo, Kuthroat, and ZanCat combining to have a 10-2 match record, swapping seeds around all the while. They face an interesting match in Nice Pants this week, another team built around having a strong middle 3 seeds. If they can take them down, they'll secure a point advantage in their quest for the playoffs. 4. Pod People (-2) After narrowly missing the playoffs in Season 10 of Legacy Series, the Pod People are back with a vengeance. RidiculousHat and Runhesaid have continued to perform at a very high level, and have combined for an 8-0 record so far this season. Runhesaid has been able to transition to the 4 seed seamlessly so far, and we don't expect her to stop anytime soon. RidiculousHat is a player we have pegged as an early MVP contender. He led the Pod People with a 7-2 record last season, and is now 11-2 in his last 13 matches in Legacy Series. If the Pod People want to remain on the road to playoffs, he will be their key player in doing so. 5. Really Nice Guys (+8) The Nice Guys are tied for the largest movement this week, which some may find surprising. A 2-2 team being top 5? How is this possible? The reason we have them so high is simple: They have played the hardest schedule of any Legacy Series team. They have faced DadLegend, BRF, TNL, and BadonkaGonk, the only four teams ahead of them in points in their conference. Even though their schedule has been so difficult, they are still only two points behind TNL and four behind BadonkaGonk. This ability to pick up points vs the top teams in their conference is impressive, and we project them as either the 2nd or 3rd team in gold to end out the regular season. 6. Team Mox (+8) Team Mox's rank might also be a surprise to some. They are also exactly 5th in their conference in points, and also have played an exceedingly difficult schedule (though not as difficult as RNG's) and have emerged with only a single loss. TheLastChamp has been a powerhouse in the 1 seed, and is an early contender for MVP. Look for their new player in Nated4444 to make a mark this week against Da Stubbs if they want to gain ground in the race for the playoffs. 7. BadonkaGonk (-6) BadonkaGonk is still rocking, but they hit a speed bump in the form of RNG this week. This, combined with the fact that two of their past opponents in SPG and Xnergy saw significant drops in this week's rankings, is the reason why they've experienced an unusually large drop for losing to a strong team. The Gonk squad is still 3rd in points in Gold and will look to bounce back this week against the Hero Power Rangers. 8. Board Resistance Fighters (+1) BRF rounds out our top 8 this week after their victory over Collective Mayhem. The big story for them this week is their new 4 seed in Brasky. He'll be facing off of Xnergy's captain in Dexter. While he didn't have the best of seasons on The Cabal, he largely played in the 3 seed. If he can pick up a win in his first week of Legacy this season he'll put BRF in a good spot to topple Xnergy this week. 9. Team Next Level (+2) 10. Nice Pants (-5) 11. Xnergy (-5) 12. Da Stubbs (-4) 13. Saronite Pain Gang (-3) 14. askHS (-2) 15. We Thought This Was LHS (+1) 16. Dragon Army (-1) 17. Ninjas in Bathrobes (+3) 18. Hero Power Rangers (+1) 19. Collective Mayhem (-2) 20. Dirty Mike and the Boys (-2)
