![]() Woecleaver: 1/5 Woecleaver is not a card that will see play in every warrior deck nor will it see play in most warrior decks. The only archetype that might want this is some form of big warrior and I'm not even sure if that is a viable archetype or even if it is that it would want this card. There is no good way to accelerate this card out so it's not coming down until turn 8 and at that point you could prolly just play whatever Big creature you are hoping to pull with this. ![]() Geosculptor Yip: 2/5 Geosculptor Yip is basically just rotface 2 except it's probably easier to trigger which is a plus in my opinion even if you can't trigger this twice in the same turn like rotface. That being said the only decks that would want this is a recruit warrior deck or a control warrior deck and even there it's far from the best threat in each. That being said warrior doesn't have too many big value creatures so this card would probably make the cut if that archetype ends up being good but this card will not make that archetype good. ![]() Bladed Gauntlet: 2/5 I have high hopes for this card but it all depends on there being a viable control warrior deck. Though if there is a good control warrior deck this card seems like some much needed early game removal. I see this card being at least a 1 of in control warrior paired alongside 2 bloodrazors which allows you to play 1 forge of souls to guarantee having your bloodrazor when you need it. Also for all the memers and dreamers out there you can go for the otk with this card and noggenfogger. ![]() Reckless Flurry: 3/5 This card is good but it does have a weakness and that is almost every time you will either end up spending more armor than needed or not have enough armor to clear everything. That being said a 3 mana sweeper should be easy to follow up with some board presence which can usually swing a game. Also Reckless Flurry + shield block makes for a dragonfire potion and that card has been a strong card the entire time it's been out. Also this card pairs very well with another new card drywhisker armorer to have another 2 card combo sweeper for big boards. ![]() Lesser Mithril Spellstone: 1/5 This card is just way too expensive for what you get out of it and that coupled with the fact that it has to be in your hand to upgrade it automatically turns me off of this card. There are so many better cards to play in the 7 drop slot. ![]() Kobold Barbarian: 1/5 Ogre Brute never saw play and neither will this. Actually this card is a 0/5. ![]() Drywhisker Armorer: 3/5 This card is easily one of the best warrior cards in the set if not the best. This card makes reckless Flurry way better by giving you a 2 card combo to clear a big board. Also this card is a sweet turn 7 play with brawl to gain a bunch of armor before clearing the board. I think this card will see play in all slower warrior archetypes. ![]() Gather Your Party: 3/5 Now this card is what could make a recruit warrior a real deck. It can pull anything but most importantly it cheats the mana curve by a significant amount. That being said I think a hypothetical Big Warrior deck is still easily just worse than other class playing this style of deck. Obviously is you do this into Y’shaarj into another fatty then is strong but that's really all the deck would have going for it in my opinion. Though there is no denying that this opens up the possibility of this style of deck in warrior. ![]() Unidentified Shield: 3/5 This card is hard to evaluate because it's actually 4 cards and you get one of the 4 at random when drawn. That being said I think every mode outside of gain 15 armor is a pretty good rate for 6 mana and even gain 15 armor can be huge in very specific situations. Gain 5 armor and deal 5 damage is a little over costed so I think this is probably the second worst mode but 5 damage looks to be a key number for how much damage you want to do to most things if cards like cobalt scalebane and despicable dreadlords continue to be in the new meta as much as they were in the last one. Gain 5 armor and summon a 5/5 is just shieldmaiden and that card was strong back in day and I imagine it's still pretty good even if cards have gotten stronger so I think this is probably the best mode. The last and final mode which I think is the second best is gain 5 armor and equip a 5/2 weapon which Arcanite reaper isn't really a control card but for one more mana having gain 5 armor slapped to it I think makes it a lot better in that style of deck. The big thing with this card though is usually 1 of the 4 modes will be great in any situation, 2 of them are ok and 1 of them will be useless. I think the risk is worth the reward though in this case. ![]() Gemstudded Golem: 4/5 I think this is the strongest warrior card of the set. This card can shut down almost any aggro board on the spot which easily earns it a spot in a control warrior deck. Though the best home for this card is obviously Quest Warrior where this guy fits right into the curve and does everything the decks wants to do which is stall and play taunts. I think this card may make taunt warrior a good deck in the new meta depending on how the other classes end up.
