Welcome back to another week of Hero Series Power Rankings! This was an exciting week, with some notable upsets, causing some big jumps from a few different teams in our rankings. The playoff race remains wide open, especially for the lower seeds in Teal. Who will perform in the clutch, and end the season with key wins, and who will falter and have a long offseason? Make sure to tune into THL's streams this week to find out! Key highlights for the week: Large rises for this late in the season from DTD, Boars and DadLegend! Tight playoff races in both conferences, especially in Teal, where 9 teams are within 10 points of making it. A lack of (projected) close matches this week, we expect a lot of points to be put up by some strong teams this week. 1. AskHS (+0) AskHS remains what we believe to be the best team in Hero Series. Their match against current teal runner-up TBH JOOD was extremely close, but has cemented them as the top team in the Teal Conference for now. Even when one member of their powerful trio faltered this week, Khell was able to secure a clutch 3-1 win over iCon and give AskHS their fifth win of the season. 2. Tap Last (+1) With JOOD's loss this past week, Tap Last are the obvious team to move into their place. This week, it was their lower three seeds that put up the series wins, with Myth dropping to 4-3. This week was evidence that this isn't a top heavy team as it may have originally seemed, this is a team that can win from the top to the bottom. 3. DadLegend (+5) The dads had an explosive week, taking down the previous 2nd team in purple in the Spell Stoners in convincing fashion. Only perennial all star Rizen dropped his series this week, and DadLegend has moved up to 2nd in purple, both in our rankings and in the points standings. Their opponents for this week will be ATL, where DadLegend will have a PR advantage in all top four seeds, and will hope to pick up a win to continue their road to the playoffs. 4. TBH JOOD (-2) JOOD has picked up its second loss this season, but it was to the current top team in Teal. They will have a tough road ahead, with every single team remaining on their schedule having at least 3 wins so far this season. That being said, they should still be the favorites in every single one of their remaining matches. If they can remain consistent throughout the rest of the season, we're confident that they will end the regular season as second place in the Teal conference. 5. Diffuse To Dharma (+5) This team has bounced back in a big way this week. They've picked up THL veteran Hockeyboyz3 to be their new 3 seed. This also has the added benefit of allowing Wildfire8010 to drop down to the 4 seed where he is more experienced. They've also added Saku to replace Davpetm as their new 5 seed. These roster changes combined with their 23 point week over ATL means that they are back in prime playoff contention, and may very well be the third best team in purple conference right now. 6. Spell Stoners (-2) The Spell Stoners have picked up their second loss of the season this last week, but it was to a strong team in DadLegend. They were only able to pick up 8 points and only a single series win. If they want to remain competitive in the tight playoff race in the purple conference they'll need to pick up at least two more wins over a relatively difficult remaining schedule, including matches against Ugly Mucklings in week eight and Tap Last in week nine. 7. Tan Pam's Surf Slam (+0) The Surf Slam may not have had a huge victory against Bomb Voyage last week, but a win is a win, and Tan Pam's remains solidly in the hunt for the playoffs in Teal. Perhaps the most exciting player on their roster is Lefty2111, who may end up as an all star in both Legacy and Hero Series. He's sporting a combined 10-3 record between both formats this season, and has shown no signs of slowing down so far. 8. Booty Bay Yacht Club (-3) The Yacht Club haven't been able to put up a win in three weeks now. Rough seas have derailed their path to a top (or really even second) seed in the teal conference, and now they are fighting just to stay in the playoff race. Two things have kept them as high in the rankings as they are: Their relatively easy remaining schedule (even though they still must play TBH JOOD), and the amount of points they've been able to pick up even when they don't win. With as many teams still in the teal playoff race as there are, only the strong will survive. These sailors will need to bounce back quickly and post a strong performance this week against Bomb Voyage if they wish to compete for a postseason berth. 9. The Fearless Hearth (+2) The Hearth had an extremely important win over The Cult last week, taking points away from another playoff contender and scoring plenty for themselves. They face yet another contender this week in the form of the Surf Slam, who we think are a good matchup for the Hearth. We look at the team that can win the 1 seed matchup of LotusKnight and Nate as the team that's likely to take the week. 10. Xplosive Sheep (+3) The Sheep have jumped up three spots after breaking their three week losing streak. They were able to have a convincing performance against another team currently in the playoffs race, Ugly Mucklings. Even in the two matches they did lose this week, they were able to pick up 4 extra points from game wins. Captain Mattyebs will have a tough task ahead of him this week, as the Sheep will be playing against Tap Last. A win here would vastly improve their playoff chances, but without it things are looking rough. They're facing down the third hardest remaining schedule in all of Hero Series, as right after they face Tap Last this week, they must play against Diffuse to Dharma. 11. Ugly Mucklings (-5) This team's last loss was Ugly. They were only able to pick up two points in their lost matches, and two of their losses were sweeps. However, this week they'll have a great opportunity to gain some points against the team that we currently have at the bottom of our rankings, Team Black Lotus. 12. 65,340,285 Boars (+5) The Boars are back in town! They picked up their second win of the season, this one over the victor of the battle of booty bay. This week, they'll be facing off against the loser of that same battle, the Booty Bay Boners. The Boars aren't exactly at the top of Teal in points or in record, but they have one of the easiest schedules remaining, and have momentum on their side. If they can pick up a third consecutive win, any team that must face them should watch out for the boars' charge. 13. The Cult (-4) 14. Hero Power Rangers (+2) 15. Big Deck Bandits (-1) 16. Booty Bay Boners (-1) 17. ATL (-5) 18. Bomb Voyage (+1) 19. B12 (-1) 20. Team Black Lotus (+0)
