Sorry for being a bit late this week! These rankings are based on our opinions before any matches were played even though we posted on Saturday this week. Reminder to tune in to next week's Saloon in order to get an early peek at the rankings! Good luck to everyone in their matches this weekend! 1. Booty Bay Yacht Club (+0) The Yacht Club remain our top team after their week 1 victory over Hero Power Rangers. One strong point from them is that perhaps their most doubted player in Skritch was able to pick up a 3-1 victory, giving us faith in his ability to perform in LHS going forward. 2. Ugly Mucklings (+0) The Mucklings definitely did some Mucking to B12 this week. The Mucklings were heavy favorites going in and didn't let it get close, with only JerryDamage dropping a series. 3. Diffuse to Dharma (+0) DTD is our highest ranked team without a win this season, as they tied the Spell Stoners this week. We still believe in their roster on paper and think they'll be able to pick up their first win of the season against DadLegend this week. 4. TBH JOOD (+2) TBH JOOD was already able to pick up a signature win in the first week of the season over Bomb Voyage, where only Durden fell to DoctorDr8del in a close 2-3 series. This week they'll look to continue their strong performance against The Fearless Hearth. 5. AskHS (+2) AskHS is another team that already has a signature win under their belts with a close win over The Cult. Khell remains a large question mark in the 3 seed after he falls 1-3 to BlueJay. Without Khell performing at a high level, we don't know that AskHS can be a true championship contender. Watch for him to step it up if AskHS wants to go to the next level. 6. Xplosive Sheep (+6) Tied for our biggest jump for the week, Xplosive Sheep had a dominant performance over ATL in week one. Not a single member of the Sheep lost, and only Thelastchamp's series went to a game five. 7. The Cult (-3) After a close loss to AskHS, The Cult drops a few spots on our rankings. We still love this roster on paper, but it hurts to lose an early season game to a possible playoff rival in AskHS. A key barometer for this team is qUAZ. If he's able to beat Brasky in the 5 seed this week, we expect The Cult to get their first win of the season. 8. Tap Last (+2) Tap Last silenced the doubters with a good win over DadLegend in week one. Rookie ZanCat pulled off a clutch 3-2 win over DadLegend's star 3 seed, Rizen. If ZanCat can keep contributing to wins, their very strong 1 and 2 seed combo in Myth and Ace103 should help Tap Last reach the playoffs. 9. The Fearless Hearth (+4) Fearless Hearth jumps several spots in our ranking after their takedown of prior Hero Series champion Boars. Gelguy had an amazing win, taking down a player that was 150 PR above him 3-2 in Brasky. However, this week against TBH Jood is looking to be a tough one for The Fearless Hearth, so they may not quite stand up to the test of the top teams. 10. Bomb Voyage (-5) The ship must sail on. DoctorDr8del was the sole survivor of week 1 of the season, and he's going to need to rally his crew if he wishes to defeat Hero Power Rangers this upcoming week. Both Doctors will be key matchups this week as they face off against Armaj10 and Mattatarms. 11. Hero Power Rangers (-3) A close loss to a top team is nothing to be ashamed about, but the Rangers have a tough opponent ahead in Bomb Voyage this coming week. If they don't want to fall farther behind in the competitive Teal conference, they should be looking to get wins out of Anne_Elise and Britbulldog this week. 12. Spell Stoners (+2) A team that many others underrated coming into the season, Spell Stoners made a splash with a tie over our 3rd ranked team Diffuse to Dharma. Perhaps the most surprising win for the team was newcomer KidEternity taking down veteran Davpetm 3-1 in the 5 seed match, but Vendi triumphing over Wildfire8010 is a close second. Laxlie and fornari on the other hand went a combined 0-6 in Week 1. If Spell Stoners want to continue on a playoff trajectory, they'll need their top 2 seeds to step it up. 13. Tan Pam's Surf Slam (+6) Tan Pam's is a team that we may have underrated in our preseason power rankings, and they proved us wrong in the first week with a decisive win over the Booty Bay Boners. Durtymike and Ozmanaut both got wins in the seeds that they moved up into this season, which says a lot about this team's potential strength going forward. 14. Team Black Lotus (+1) Black Lotus picked up a close win over the Bandits this last week. They face a tough opponent in Xplosive Sheep now, but look out for Vmprnighthwk and BloodHunter to pick up wins if they want to remain competitive in the playoff race. 15. ATL (-4) ATL had a slow start to the season, only putting up 5 points against Xplosive Sheep. As a result, they drop several spots, but they have a chance to bounce back against the feared Ugly Mucklings this week. Their marquee matchup is Aliensanta vs ironFIRE, which may be the deciding factor in who comes out on top. 16. DadLegend (+0) DadLegend had a close loss to a projected playoff team in Tap Last, with wins from Mayanadon and yellowdart. If they can show up big against Diffuse To Dharma this week they'll be in a strong position to contend for the playoffs in Purple Conference. 17. 65,340,285 Boars (-8) The Boars come in at our largest drop in the rankings this week. They lost to The Fearless Hearth, but they lost more than that. 1 seed SmileyKris and 3 seed Cinder will not be on the roster going forwards, which will shake up the team significantly, for better or worse. If the Boars can find suitable replacements and bounce back from this week 1 loss they still have plenty of time to recover and make the playoffs. 18. Big Deck Bandits (-1) While the Bandits weren't able to win week 1, they were able to secure a double-digit point total to boost their playoff hopes. Their match against the Spell Stoners this week may be a tough one, but if the Bandits band together they will have a strong shot at taking the week. 19. Booty Bay Boners (-1) The Boners come in at 19th on these rankings. While we know the team has a lot of potential since it's filled with skilled players, they haven't proven themselves to us yet. There's no better match to do that than in the Battle Of Booty Bay against the Yacht Club. Look for Cary, Darkseid and Jammies to be the guys to pick up big wins if they want to take this week home. 20. B12 (+0) B12 had a rough first week against the Mucklings, but that's nothing to be disappointed about. B12 has a (relatively) easier opponent in Tap Last this week, where they'll look to be able to pick up their first win of the season.
