An international man (or woman) of mystery is here to give you all of their opinions and accept none of the accountability.
A quick letter from the editor: Lest you think this is a Donde production and I'm afraid to slap my name on it, I invite you to notice me (senpai) way down at the bottom of the player rankings. I ain't bout that. Still ahead of Darkseid though.
Hello everyone! This is your seasons BOLD Predictions. The place where the season is analyzed, week by week, WILD accusations are made. We dive deep, tell it how it is, and 100% of everything stated is guaranteed to happen. This article will be broken into three sections: Each Players Record at the end of the season, Each Team record after the regular season, and Week by Week analysis on how we got there.
With all this said, there are a few things to keep in mind. While calculating weekly matchups, everything is based on your starting PR. If you have a PR close to someone else and are likely to switch places with someone that is NOT considered. If you start the season as a 3 seed, we are assuming you are in the 3 seed the whole season. This affects results in 2 ways! Firstly, your individual player record may be off. Secondly, if you would be swapping with a seed, we can assume skill level is relatively equal. That means team records over the course of the season should still be mostly accurate as stated.
The second thing to note is that this only takes into account match wins. While points matter in THL from losing matches 2-3 those points are so impossible to calculate until we see classes. Do to that we are assuming all matches are 3-0 wins. Once we get to top 8 if there is a tie, due to this unknown, for a wildcard slot I have randomly assigned a team from the tied teams into the playoff slot.
In this section you will see the raw record for every player. The players at the top of the list are the players you should watch out and aim to be! Just get good kids. For those of you near the bottom of the list this does not mean you are bad players, it just means how your team lines up makes where you are seeded unfortunate and you have a very large hill to climb to prove me wrong.
Regular Season Standings:
This will show the result of the data that will follow from the week by week analysis. As stated before if your team is not high on these standings, it means the seeding of your players, team constructions, etc for this season does not make very many matches favorable for you. For the teams who are at the top of the standings it means that the division you were rolled into gives you a very good chance of making it into the playoffs!
In the Blurple Conference the expected playoff teams are DadLegend, Glitter Baes, Saronite Pain Gang, and Team Next Level. For everyone in this division, these are the teams to look out for!
In the Rold Conference, ATL, Defias Brotherhood, HSA, and AskHS (randomly picked) are your playoff teams. Keep an eye out here!
Here I will be giving a weekly breakdown of what I expect to happen each week, every match, for the whole season, until only one team remains! Any objections to these results are obviously wrong and my word will be law. While there will not be reasoning behind 99% of these results, knowing these players over the course my long tenure as a THL, historical data, and my obviously non-biased opinions give us the most accurate results. Please note there are week tabs at the bottom of this document and you can see each individual week!
With that said, the BOLD PREDICTION is that Glitter Baes will win the championship. They have a great lineup this season, their players sit in favorable positions in almost every one of their matches. That said, here is an early congratulation to Hot Wolfmack, Captain Stephieee, the Bluest Sombrero, The one and only ArcaneTHL, and the resident Doctor of Butts.
For those of you upset with these results, go home, put your big girl panties on, and prove me wrong.
That is all for your BOLD PREDICTIONS, but you can expect a mid-season update where I evaluate how I was 100% correct in everything stated in this article.
