Sylvanas Season 7 Team Reveal: AskHS

Today we continue our reveal articles for the Sylvanas Season 7 by looking at the team AskHS. I interviewed their captain Khell to find out more about their team as they head into their first season.

What made you want to be a captain for this season?

Khell: I wanted to get the AskHS guys together and involved in the league to show everyone that we don’t just give advice, we can run with the best of them.

So you're trying to disprove the old saying that those who can't do coach?

Khell: Haha in a sense yes.

Over the years we've seen several different strategies for how to build a team. As a first time captain, what was your strategy as you put together your team?

Khell: My plan when building the team was simple, get my AskHS teachers into the 1-3 seeds. Since coaching/advice is what we do at AskHS, from there it was just a matter of finding some lower PR players with a good attitude and willingness to learn. And I think I’ve accomplished that goal. Very excited to see RCIX and Saku bump their PR’s up this season.

Tell me about your first player.

Khell: My first player for Sylv is Cary. Cary is a great player and has been around the league for a while. And with the rest of the team being mostly new players that experience will be invaluable.

Who’s your second player?

Khell: My two seed this season is FUEL. Fuel is an insanely skilled deckbuilder and flourishes in new metas like this. He has even helped create decks from the past you may recognize. Including Handlock, and Secret Paladin. While he isn’t currently teaching on AskHS the man is a living legend over there.
Secret Paladin is the reason I've got golden Paladin and is my only golden class so I'm a fan of anyone who created that deck.

Who's your next player?

Khell: My three seed is someone most people in the league will be familiar with by now. Opti, he is now a part of DoLA, a teacher for AskHS, and an incredible player. I’ve known Opti for quite a while now and in the past year he’s improved 10 fold. And coming in at under 400 PR he’s an absolute steal. I fully expect Opti to completely Crush the 3 seed position.

Who do you have in the 4 seed?

Khell: My 4 seed is widely known as the “league nice guy” Saku! I’m very happy I was able to pick Saku up this season. His attitude is just great. And I know with the support of the rest of the team he’s going to kill it this season.

Who’s your last player?

Khell: The last player on my Sylv team is RCIX. RC is looking to take the league a little more seriously this season. With a great attitude and a willingness to learn RC is what AskHS is all about, helping players improve and learn. Watch out 5 seeds and don’t underestimate RC!

Any final thoughts as you guys head into Sylvanas Season 7?

Khell: I think this sylv team is absolutely stacked. We plan to see everyone in the playoffs for our rookie season. We are here to show everyone that AskHS is no joke, and that we can run with the best teams out there.
