Bill Synder, Mayandon and Markshire give us their Pro Series Power Rankings 1. Tap Last (+1)
Tap Last was able to continue their impressive start this season with a decisive 15-3 win against VoNC. This victory was in no small part thanks to Plantz winning the only unfavorable matchup and Cesky finding the win in the mirror against Lotusknight. The 3 favorable matchups—Ace, Cmac, and Altenberg—also resulted in favorable wins. After this formidable round, Tap Last is looking to continue their streak in the upcoming week against the 2nd lowest rated team in HPR. 2. Bad to the Bone (-1) This team continues to flex their muscles into week 2. It was a close match but we saw why this team was ranked so high in the preseason as both Fosho and Ultimate take unfavorable matchups to lead their team to a 10 to 7 victory. Derivus was also able to sweep a good player in inposition. This team looks to continue to build on their quick 2-0 start playing a heating up 2xNHOM. 3. 2xNHOM (+2) With an almost complete sweep of the struggling Dr. Boomshakalaka, iCon’s squad moves up two ranks this week. Despite only having one clear favorable matchup in Itachi vs TheLastChamp, they were able to win 4 out of 5 matches resulting in a 12-3 victory. Facing an unfavorable matchup, iCon was unable to complete the sweep against Mayanadon. This week will be a true test for 2xNHOM as they look to keep their momentum going despite a tough matchup with Calcium. 4. Money Ballerz Inpositions’ squad ran into a rough week playing our top ranked team bad to the bone. They put up a strong fight against the top ranked team, with Apexpredador and switters both finding wins for their squads inposition hit an unfavorable and paid the price with an 0-2. The week then fell on 4 seed Bluespartan and 5 seed jyak getting wins. Neither was able to come through though as Jyak’s warrior fell to Ultimate’s rogue and BlueSpartan’s rogue fell to Fosho’s mage. Money Ballerz will try and bounce back against 2xNHOM 5. Swagoi (-2) After lighting it up week one, Swagoi came back down to earth with an upsetting 9-11 loss against HPR. The defeat was largely in part to AudreyKills, Deliver, and TheHunta losing some pretty favorable matchups. Rizen and Stephieee, the MVPs this week, look to bolster their team for the upcoming match against the fourth ranked Moneyballerz. 6. Dr.Boom Dr. Boom continues to struggle as they faced 2xNHOM. Boozasaurus and Wolfmack brought rogue in it’s last week in it’s current glory neither found a win however as Rebobson’s hunter took a win over Boozasaurus and Jetlaw’s Mage took a win over WolfMack. The last 3 of 2xNHOM’s players all brought Paladin Mayanadon was the team’s lone win as he found a warrior the other two ran into the week’s lone shaman and one of the few druids standing thus, both found losses. This team is still talented and I expect a run sooner rather than later. 7. Hero Power Rangers (+1) After a tough week one loss, HPR was able to rally with a close 11-9 win over Swagoi in week two. The most impressive part of their win came from the victories of Dusharmo, Noltown, and Mattatarms, against unfavorable matchups. With Tap Last in their sights this week, HPR will need to use more of that mojo in order to make a run for the four available playoff spots. 8. VonC Vote of No Confidence hit another tough matchup going up against this week’s top ranked team Tap Last. TwoStarMako the teams lone win from the week before was unable to find a win vs a very strong opponent in Plantz. Hockeyboyz hit a very unfavorable matchup against a druid as well as Slimsch hitting a warrior things were rough for VonC this week as RealTerror hit an unfavorable as well vs a Paladin and Lotusknight hit a warrior mirror against one of the best warrior players in THL in Cesky. VonC gets a massive opportunity to bounce back against a struggling Dr. Boom team in week 3.
