Logos and The Next Era of THL

Hey everyone. For the first few seasons, The Board considered adding logos to series pages to be a great success. Teams were allowed to express themselves in fun ways that offered creativity and brought an extra layer to THL’s culture. Unfortunately, recent logos have created controversy among certain circles within the community. We’ve tried to manage and temper those controversies but the influx of new players and a changing culture have led us to take greater measures to manage the problem.

The Board agrees that logos are an important part of team character, and we don’t want to take this aspect away from the players. However, there is no easy change that allows us to approach this on a case-by-case basis. Therefore, we’ve decided that the following rules will apply to all teams going forward:

• All logos will be created by The Board using THL’s in-house artificial image generator, CarlAI.
• Logos will be made with prompts that The Board collectively determines based on the team name submitted.

Logos already submitted this season will be reviewed and recreated via CarlAI to comply with the new rules.

In addition, all team names and logos in future seasons will be considered property of Team Hearth League and will require a license to be used commercially. Licenses will be available on a per-case basis. For inquiries on pricing, we will be providing more info in the coming weeks.
